Real-Time Person Search

The Real-Time Person Search produces reports by linking the information you provide such as Name, Address, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, etc.  These reports yield the most up-to-date information available using real-time access to live data, which is derived from continuously updated national databases containing more than 215 million consumers.

The search may result in as many as 20 consumers associated with the input criteria and can contain a maximum of 11 addresses per consumer.

Generating Reports Using the Basic Data

Try generating reports using one or more of the following data/data set and then click the Report button.

  1. If you know the subject's Social Security Number (SSN) you can use it alone in your search. Even though SSNs are the most reliable identifier for an individual, they are not 100 percent dependable because some records may not contain a subject's SSN or it may be linked to several subjects. Therefore, when searching with an SSN, you may also want to consider including the Last Name, First Name and State, if known.
  2. Input Last Name, First Name, and State. You can also use a partial first name. Adding criteria, such as middle name or initial, DOB, city, ZIP code, or age range, refines a search.

If you are unsure of the subject's proper first name, try using a variation of the name. Our intuitive automatic nickname feature will return results matching the subject's proper first name.

If you are unsure of the spelling of a person's name, try checking Include similar sounding names box which will search for phonetic variations of the subject's name if no exact match is found.

  3. Enter a Telephone Number. You may use seven digits, with or without a State.
  4. Supply a Last Name, First Name, State, and full or partial Date of Birth (DOB). A DOB may be entered in several formats: mm/yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, or yyyy alone.
  5. For Example:

    1). Month and Year: (04/1963)
2). Month, Day and Year: (04/23/1963)
    3). Year Only: (1963)

In the event that a Subject's complete DOB is unknown, searching by mm/yyyy or yyyy format may prove helpful.

  6. Search using a DOB and First Name. If more records are returned than are practical to review, refine your search by adding a City and State or Zip Code.

Generating Reports Using Additional Subject Information

The Additional Subject Information feature provides advanced search capabilities. It allows you to include additional information about your subject, such as a relative’s first name or previous state of residence. It lets you use partial information to more accurately pinpoint where a person might be currently located.

Click the plus sign by Show Additional Subject Information Fields to display the following: Other Last Name; Other City; Other State; Other State; Relative First Name; Other Relative First Name.

Note: The additional fields are hidden by default. You can access My Account –> Preferences –> Other User Settings to check the option to always show the additional fields by default from session to session.

  1. Enter your subject's name and the first name of a relative. For example, if you are looking for John Doe and you know he has a relative with the first name of Jane.
Note: This feature uses an individual’s five “closest” relatives. These closest relatives are determined by data (such as shared domiciles or shared assets) not by ancestral bloodlines or the degree of closeness in the familial relationship. It is important to also note that minors are not in public databases, therefore; using a minor’s information in this context provides no added value and would probably exclude matches you could want.
  2. Enter your subject's name and include a name they may have previously used or may be currently using. For example, Jane Doe may have previously been known as Jane Smith.
  3. Enter your subject's name and state of residence as well as any previous state or states (maximum of two) in which they may have resided. For example, Jane Doe in Florida and previously resided in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
  4. Enter your subject's name, city, and state and include the name of another city and state in which they may have lived. For example, Jane Doe in Sunrise, Florida, and Tallahassee, Florida.
  5. Enter your subject's name and the last four digits of their Social Security Number. For example, Jane Doe and 1234. You may even use a partial first name.
  6. Enter your subject's last name and first and middle initials. For example, J.D. Doe.
  7. Search using Enter your subject's name and partial street address. For example, Jane Doe on Main Street, Anywhere, FL.
